Why do sheep need a Shepherd?

How do you identify as a sheep?

Looking back to your high school years, who were the Shepherds you followed?

Who do you follow now?

Who would people closest to you say is your Shepherd?

How does the Shepherd meet your needs?

Is your tendency to “follow the sheep” or listen to the Shepherd’s voice?

Bret talked about the example of a sheep being “cast down” which means the sheep falls over and  turns upside down on his back and can’t get back up on his own.

Can you think of an example where you were “cast down” and someone helped you up?

What were the things that happened that made you “cast down?”

What kinds of things did the Shepherd who helped you, put you back on your feet again?

Have you ever felt like you were walking in a dark place, but felt the presence of God?

How has Jesus been the Shepherd of your soul?

Read: Colassians 3:5-10

What are the things you need to put to death?
