6/23/19 Huddle

Erwin McManus (GLS)

Read: 2 Kings 13:8-19 for the story of King Jehoash

Can you share a time when someone’s words left an impactful impression on your life positively or negatively?

Do you feel like you’ve “settled” in life? Or that you aren’t living up to your full potential?

How can you live each day as if it’s the last day of your life? Is this possible? What keeps us from doing this?

Erwin stated: “Leadership is not about living within the confines of your fear.

It’s about facing them and going through them.”

How can you face your fears so that you live out your best potential before God?

Erwin said: “What you fear has mastery over your life.”

What “fear masters” have control over your life?

“You have to be willing to go through the pain to step into your greatness.”

What does this mean?

For Jesus, his greatness was on the other side of his pain (the Cross and his resurrection).

Can you share a moment when you walked through a painful situation and greatness came from it?

Have you given your life to Jesus?

If not, is there a fear that is keeping you from doing so?
