Because 50 Day 18

Trey McClain   -

Scripture Reading: Acts 2:46-47
46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Today’s Prayer:
Lord, use our lives as evidence of your truth.
Going Deeper:
The resurrection of Jesus Christ radically changed the lives of his early followers. Why? I believe that part of the reason was for them it was not just a matter of faith, but a matter of fact. They had seen him with their own eyes. They had ate meals with him following his resurrection. They had listened to him teach, challenge, encourage them. It was a fact that they had experienced.
Often those with competing worldviews want to make a claim that Christianity is founded in faith while their worldview is based on facts. That claim is erroneous in two ways. Dr. Michael Licona explains in the video below.

How has the evidence of the resurrection changed your life? One of the ways that it can change your life is by being equipped to defend what you believe. Take time to investigate the resurrection and the historical data surrounding it. One great resource for you as you explore this topic is J.
