1Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to you.
Questions for Reflection:
Who is writing this letter? What do you know about Paul, Silas and Timothy? While Paul is often given primary authorship of the book, why do you think he includes Silas and Timothy? Throughout his ministry, Paul included others in the mission. When Paul went on a missionary journey, he was routinely going with others. Why do you think Paul valued the idea of working in a team so much?

We believe teams should be active, loving groups where our God-given gifts are joined with other’s to help people experience Jesus. Are you connected to a group or team for the purpose of helping others experience Jesus? If not, what is keeping you from doing so? If you are, how have you seen God work in and through your team?
