Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:9
9And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.
Questions for Reflection:
Paul does not just instruct employees, he has words for employers as well. He tells us not to “threaten them.” Thanks to most HR policies, we aren’t in danger of physically threatening anyone today. However, there are ways that we can make those who work for us feel threatened. How can you make sure that this does not happen with those you lead? What mindset does Paul instruct us to have? How can help to remember God’s presence and His character? How can you lead others well this week?
