Scripture Reading: Philippians 1:3-8
3I thank my God every time I remember you. 4In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
7It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. 8God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

Questions for Reflection:

What brought joy to Paul’s prayers? What were the Philippians doing that made him joyful? Who do you thank God for when you remember them? Who are the people in your life that if they were to leave, you’d feel sick? Do they know how valuable they are to you? Take time today to do two things. First, pray for them. Thank God for them and the impact they’ve had on your life. Second, take a moment to let them know how much they mean to you. You can do this by calling them, sending them a letter or maybe find another way.
