Mini Christmas Tree Decorating Contest

December 6 - 20 2020

For the month of December, we are inviting you to take part in a Mini Christmas Tree Decorating Contest! Groups and Teams can create one together, or you can make one on your own. If you attend a One Life Campus in person, you can submit your tree in person and it will be shown in our lobbies. If you attend One Life Anywhere, post a picture on the One Life Anywhere Facebook Group to be a part of the contest!

Take a look at your campus or One Life Anywhere to bid on a tree and all the proceeds raised will go to help support some local community partners.

 

Official Rules For Tree Decorating Contest

  1. Trees need to be between  12  and 24 inches in height.
  2.  Groups and Teams are encouraged to and may submit one tree.  An individual can also submit a tree.
  3.  You may decorate your tree as simple or fancy as you like. Creativity is encouraged.
  4. Each tree will be placed for a silent auction beginning December 6th in the lobby at each campus.  A bid sheet will be placed by each tree. Bidders will write their name, contact info and bid amount on the bid sheet. The highest bidder by 12:10 p.m. on December 20th on each tree will win the tree.  Trees must be paid for right after the event is over or paid for and picked up by December 21st.
  5. Trees are encouraged to be submitted to your respective campus by December 6th but can be turned in all the way up to December 20th. You are likely to get more bids on your tree the sooner you turn it in.  
  6.  Bids start at $15.  
  7. The decorating theme is something that represents 2020 in pop culture or one of Pastor Bret’s sermon series in 2020. 
  8. Bidders may place multiple bids on several trees, but agree to pay the amount you bid if you win the highest bid on multiple trees.
  9.  ALL  funds raised by the trees will be divided up equally and distributed to our community partners.

    For Anywhere: Uncharted International
  10.  The designer(s) of the tree going for the highest bid at each campus will win our 2020 Golden Toilet Paper award as well as a $100 Gift Certificate!
  11.  Designers of the Anywhere campus must agree to send their tree to the highest bidder of their tree by December 21st. Photos of your tree can be posted on our Anywhere Social Media page and bids placed in the comments section.
