8.8.21 Huddle – Global Leadership Summit
This past week was the Global Leadership Summit. As such, we will not have a normal huddle this week. Here are a few suggestions if you group is still meeting:
- Use last week’s huddle or one that you have never used.
- Read 1 Corinthians 12:1-12 and have a conversation about spiritual gifts. Have group members share their background when it comes to spiritual gifts. Is it something they heard about in church? Something that they familiar with? Something that weirds them out?
- Skip the lesson and catch up with one another.
- Have a prayer time centered around spiritual gifts. Prayerfully read 1 Corinthians 12:1-12. Then, guide your group to ask God to reveal a person they should pray for. Finally, ask that God would either reveal the gift given to you, or pray for the spiritual gift you desire to manifest in your life. Always remembering that God gives us spiritual gifts not to build ourselves up but for the comfort, encouragement, and exhortation of others.
