What are some load bearing events that required you to have a solid foundation?

Read: Matthew 5:17-20

How have you traditionally viewed the Kingdom of Heaven? How would you define it?

What do I think of Jesus and His words and Bible?

Ask yourselves, am I a student of Jesus’s words?

How do people’s righteousness surpass that of the Pharisees (the religious leaders/teachers)?

Where do we get our righteousness?

Does my life show that I put Jesus’ words into action?

Challenge each other to read the whole Sermon on the Mount throughout the week. Pray Matthew 5:14-16 as a group or team. Pray that God would use you in new ways to be salt and light to the world.

These are great questions and can be used one at a time, or one from each section even if time is short. Most importantly if used consistently, then people will be conscious of starting to develop the habits and lifestyle of becoming a disciple.
