Huddle time is an opportunity for you to connect to each other and grow in faith. The below questions are just a resource for you to use or start from. Don’t feel like you have to use them all or rush through good discussion if it’s happening.

Do you have a story of being humbled in a funny/interesting way?

 
What are some instances in your life, good or bad, that have shaped your view of yourself?
Read John Dickson’s definition of Humility:
Humility is the noble choice to forgo your status, deploy your resources or use your influence for the good of others before yourself. More simply, the willingness to hold power in service of others.
Where have you witnessed humility in action that looks like the definition above?
Is there a difference between the cultural view of humility and the Christian view of humility?
Where have you witnessed the opposite of humility?
READ: Philippians 2:3-8
What can we learn about Jesus in this passage and what does it teach us about humility?
Would people you know who would not consider themselves believers describe people in the Church as humble?
How would your campus or community be positively impacted if your group or team intentionally embodied biblical humility? Think of specific actions that you can take.
Build a profile of an “ideal Christian” and how they display humility. Just list out the attributes that are evident.
In your walk with Jesus, how does being humble help you trust and follow Jesus?
How does humility help you grow closer to God?  Understand Jesus?

Has this reality impacted you personally?  Is there a story there somewhere?
Are there people in your life that could benefit from having a seat at your team’s table?  Are there people you can invite to do life with your group or team so that they can have a place at the table?
