Read John 11:1-38
Have you ever felt like God isn’t listening to you, or not showing up?
Which category would you fall in?
Discouraged, disappointed, or disillusioned?
Read Isaiah 53:1-6 // This verse shows that Jesus enters into suffering and pain, and emotion. Why would God enter into our pain?
How does it make you feel knowing that Jesus wept at the pain he saw from those he loved?
So what can we learn from Jesus suffering, yet he also trusted God?
Have you ever had an experience where the suffering added up to a greater sense of gratitude once it’s over?

Beyond the idea of heaven, what does it mean that death has been defeated? That the sorrow has been undone. How do we now live in that hope?
