Moral activity proceeds from a right understanding of who we are in Christ. Tim Keller says:Legalism says: I obey therefore I’m accepted. The gospel says: I’m accepted therefore I obey. If you have come to faith in God, then He sees you differently and you relate to Him differently.
When you hear the phrase ‘legalism’ what comes to mind?Is there a time when you started to see yourself differently as a follower of Christ? If so, how has it or hasn’t it affected your actions?
What is another relationship in your life that has an effect on your actions?

Verse 14 says that Love is the greatest virtue and binds the others together.Pray as a group that God would grow all of us in understanding His love and living our lives as a response to it.
