Huddle // Phase 3 – Part 6

One Life Network   -

Huddle time is an opportunity for you to connect to each other and grow in faith. The below questions are just a resource for you to use or start from. Don’t feel like you have to use them all or rush through good discussion if it’s happening.

What has been your best experience being a part of a group or team either outside the church (sports, work, school, social groups, etc.) or as a part of the church?
What made that community so special?

The two value statements we talked about this week:
We do life in groups & teams because…Jesus did.
We believe every group & team should help people trust & follow Jesus because the church family is called to bring out the best in each other.

Jesus lived his life in community with others but it didn’t always look the same..
He taught large groups of people…the crowds.
He had a group of 12 disciples which he spent a great deal of time with.
He sometimes took (three of those disciples) Peter, James and John for more intensive moments of teaching and revelation. (ex. Mark 3:16, 17; Luke 6:14)

What are the different groups that you interact with others?
What is your version of the crowds, 12 or inner circle?
How does how you interact with each them change?

Read – Colossians 1:28-29Colossians 3:15-17

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your group/team at being intentional at helping one another grow in your faith?
What is one thing you can do with the time you have together (even if it is limited) to work harder at helping one another trust and follow Jesus?
