3 Things to Consider When you Talk about Religion: RRE 2

God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 2:24–25 ESV) Care about the people you talk to and the things they talk about.
Listen and take interest in people. Find out how people came to believe what they believe. Listen more than you talk and see what kinds of things you learn. Jesus often answered questions by asking questions, which led everyone to better answers.
Remember the goal is Christ, not to be in agreement over every issue. All of these conversations are with the goal of understanding Christ better. You and your hearers will understand Christ better if you are all willing to grow.
