There are three main headings to think about while we look at the conversations Jesus had with people.

Remember you aren’t trying to win an argument! [24] And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, [25] correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 2:24–25 ESV) Care about the people you talk to and the things they talk about.
Questions
Listen and take interest in people. Find out how people came to believe what they believe. Listen more than you talk and see what kinds of things you learn. Jesus often answered questions by asking questions, which led everyone to better answers.
Christ
Remember the goal is Christ, not to be in agreement over every issue. All of these conversations are with the goal of understanding Christ better. You and your hearers will understand Christ better if you are all willing to grow.
