Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:4-7
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Questions for Reflection:
Paul finishes with series of short, direct instructions. What does Paul ask the Philippians to do? What does it mean to rejoice in the Lord always? What is the hardest part of doing that in your life? Paul instructs the church to not be anxious about anything. How should we approach difficult moments then according to Paul? What does God provide us to help guide us? How can you let the peace of God guide your heart and mind today? Spend time in prayer asking God to help lead you today.
