Worship, Love Compassion
1. What are some things you have placed your confidence in throughout your life? What did you learn from these experiences? Don’t just give churchy answers, what did you learn? Discuss together what God might have been teaching you through that?
2. What was the last promise you made to someone? If you feel comfortable, share that with your Team. How did it go? What components are needed to make a promise?
3. Read Ephesians 1:9-13 together. What is God’s promise in these passages? How should this effect our view of our own identity? Do you think this should effect how we see and treat others? How and in what ways?
Helping One Another Experience Jesus
One of the things we want to continue to encourage is Teams building up other Teams. One of the things that builds confidence is when we affirm what other Teams are doing and share it with them. Take a few minutes and make a list of things you’ve seen another Team at One Life do, then have your leader give it to their leader.
Helping People Far From God Experience Jesus
One of the things we can do to help our friends and acquaintances experience Jesus is to understand God’s sovereignty in new ways. Check out this video and discuss how science contributes to the discussion of sovereignty :
