Construction in Progress
Today I, along with other girls from One Life Students, got to visit Zion Orphanage for a short tour. The members of One Life Students have been a part of a movement called “My Heart for Myanmar,” and we are raising money to add buildings to Zion Orphanage. We have raised 35,000 of the $65,000 needed to build the new dorms, bathrooms, and dining hall. Currently around 20-30 children are living at Zion, and I got to meet them, which was so awesome! I was so excited to visit Zion today and see how the construction has progressed! I saw the hut that the children are sleeping in until the rest of the buildings are finished. They sleep on the hard floor- maybe with a blanket. However, it’s so great that we are adding on to Zion, so that the children have better living conditions and more children can have safe shelter with people who love them very much. I love these kids so much, and I’m so happy that they will have a roof over their heads, loving leaders surrounding them, and a strong God with them every step of the way. My heart is for Myanmar. Is yours?
