Worship, Love, Compassion
1. Have you ever heard (or said) someone say: “your walk with Christ”? What does this mean? We say that worship in teams happens when you help each other direct all of life to God. How does this understanding make sense of walking out your life with Christ?
2. Are you “hacking on the golf course” in your faith? Is your relationships with Christ fueling your happiness and joy or sucking the life out of you? If you do not consider yourself to be a follower of Jesus, do you feel hope or lack thereof? Why or why not? Share with your teammates.
3. What do you feel would help you move toward happiness as God has for you, that is your inheritance as one of His sons or daughters?
Helping one another experience Jesus
We say that love for each other happens at One Life Church through being part of a team. A successful Mission Team can’t help but be attractional. Who should you invite from your life to be a part of your team? Share with your teammates.
Helping people far from God experience Jesus
Cultural communication happens when we tell Jesus’s story in human terms, when we share the Christian message in a way people can relate to. How was this modeled in this teaching? Name some specific examples you remember. How can you do the same?
