Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:21, 22
21Tychicus, the dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will tell you everything, so that you also may know how I am and what I am doing. 22I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage you.
Questions for Reflection:
Tychicus appears in five different books of the Bible but you may never remember seeing his name before. How does Paul describe Tychicus? Why was Paul sending Tychicus to the church at Ephesus? Beyond the words that Paul penned here, Tychicus had another important responsibility. He was probably responsible for delivering the letter that Paul was writing to the church at Ephesus.
Not everything we do for God will give us an audience. We may never step foot on a platform to speak or sing. We may never write a book or article that anyone reads. However, if we’re faithful in what God does give us to do, we can have a profound and lasting impact. What has God called you to do in this season of your life? What are you doing with that opportunity?
