Scripture: Ephesians 5:1-2
1Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Questions for Reflection:
Yesterday we looked at these two verses in our sermon (if you missed it, you can watch it online). What are the commands that Paul gives in these two verses? HINT: One is found at the beginning of each of the verses.  What does it mean to follow God’s example? How can you know what His example is? Where would you find the patterns that he has laid out for us?
When Paul talked about walking in the way of love, he was speaking to living out your everday, ordinary existence in a manner that was filled with love. What would have to change in your life for you to walk in love daily? In what areas of your life do you feel like you are consistently hitting the mark in this area? What areas of your life could stand some improvement? Spend time today praying through these verses asking God to strengthen you as you follow His example and walk in love.
