Scripture: Ephesians 2:10
10For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV)
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (ESV)
10For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (NLT)

Questions for Reflection:
One of our biggest challenges we face is to remember who we are in Christ. In Christ, you are viewed as God’s handiwork. What word do some other translations use for the word that the NIV translates “handiwork”? How do these other translations help give you a fuller understanding of how God views you? According to this verse, why were you created in Christ Jesus? How does it effect you to know that God has work “prepared in advance for us to do”? How does this verse impact how you live your life today? In what ways will you live differently? What are you going to do because of this verse? Spend time in prayer centering on what God has taught you today.
