We Worship Extravagantly Because the power of the Holy Spirit works in me to His will through me.
Todays Prayer: More of You Lord. I want more of you.
Today’s Scripture:
Philippians 2:13, “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”
Luke 4:18, ” The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.”
Reflecting on Scripture:
1. Mark taught that God wants to do something in us in order to do something through us. Have you thought about your relationship with God and the world in these terms before? What do you think God is currently doing in your life for personal transformation? Ask other people in your Christian community (Group or Team) the same thing.
2. Do you frequently pray for more of an awareness of God’s presence in your life? If not, why do you think that is? What barrier is there stopping you?
3. Do you know God’s purposes? They are not hidden from us. They are revealed in Scripture. Know and fall in love with the Big Story of Scripture:
