Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:4
4Fathers,do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Questions for Reflection:
What does it mean to exasperate your children? If you’re a parent, what are ways that you may have exasperated your children in the past? What motivated those actions? There’s a great short blog post that identifies 8 things that exasperate children. Take a moment and read the article. Do you agree with the authors’ assessment? What does Paul instruct parents to do instead of exasperating them? What makes that so difficult?
